Who Would Be On Your Yankees Mt. Rushmore?

ESPN’s Brandon Tierney had an interesting discussion on Twitter:
Who would be your choice to represent the Yankees on a fictitious team Mt. Rushmore? Here was Tierney’s response:
My NYY Mount Rushmore: Babe Ruth (1920-’34), Mickey Mantle (1951-’68), George Steinbrenner (1973-2010) & Derek Jeter (’95-present)
Of course you are leaving out a ton of great players including Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehrig, and Yogi Berra. No other team in the league has a problem like this where there are too many great players to choose from?
I think there isn’t any doubt that Steinbrenner belongs on the mountain. Derek Jeter? He does, but at the expense of Joe D.? Maybe the real debate is Mantle vs. DiMaggio and who is more deserving. That may depend on what generation you are part of. The Baby Boomers in the audience probably would say Mantle, but DiMaggio was just as big, arguably bigger, during his playing days.
This is one of those rare instances where I just don’t seem sure of an opinion. I can’t disagree with Tierney’s decision, it’s a fair thought, but leaving DiMaggio off the mountain just seems wrong. What are your thoughts?

Washington = Ruth
Jefferson = Gehrig
T. Roosevelt = Mantle
Lincoln = DiMaggio

I would leave Steinbrenner off before any player. Steinbrenner certainly had his impact, but the players do all the winning…

actually, I think this fits better:
Washington = Ruth
Jefferson = DiMaggio
T. Roosevelt = Mantle
Lincoln = Gehrig
