Dugout Central: Torre to get Hall of Fame Call

Scott Jensen at Dugout Central reports that Joe Torre, Dick Allen, and Ron Santo will get the Hall of Fame call from the Veterans Committee.
The selection of Torre, although deserving as a manager, would certainly raise eyebrows with the Gil Hodges supporters. If this is true, then you may see one of the most debated Veterans Committe selections in quite some time.
