Interview with Mike Carp
By Mike Silva ~ November 21st, 2008. Filed under: Mets Minors.
Back in August I spent a couple of days in Binghamton checking out some of the minor league talent. I had the chance to interview Mike Carp and discuss some of the things he attributed to his solid season. Carp finished 2008 hitting .299 with 17 homers and 72 RBI’s. Yesterday we learned that the Mets added Carp to their 40 man roster so not to lose him in the Rule V draft. Although his future with the organization remains murky, he still could hold value in a trade.
To hear a brief interview where I discuss his thoughts on not being invited to big league camp, what areas of his game he worked on improving, and watching former teammates Nick Evans and Daniel Murphy in the big league click on the link below.
