Mets Alumni: Gary Carter

On Monday, former Mets catcher Gary Carter will be introduced as manager of the Long Island Ducks. Back in April of 2007, Gary Carter was the first ever athlete to appear on NY Baseball Digest. I had the opportunity to interview him live from the studios of 1240 AM WGBB.
At that time Gary was just coming off a successful managerial stint with the St. Lucie Mets. We discussed his time in the Mets organization, the 1986 World Series, and his 300th career home run. Gary also shared his memories of that special day when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
