What Opposing Fans Think of the Mets

Thought you would like to read some of the comments from two sites, Baseball Think Factory and The Big Lead, that picked up “Mets Must Channel Everyone’s Hate” piece from yesterday. The following quotes are strait from opposing fans:

Most Nats fans I know don’t like the Phillies, but they despise the Mets
I consider defeating the Mets to be performing God’s work. Not only do I dislike their FO with a passion, I find their fans to utterly repulsive for the most part.
Jeez, why would a bunch of low payroll teams who have to try and draft their way to pennants dislike the Mets?
