Boys of Summer

I did my final 1240 AM WGBB show for 2009 on Sunday night. During the 10:30 segment Robert Cochrane joined me. Robert and his dad Dan spent the summer of 2004 visiting all 30 MLB stadiums. This was after Dan was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease leading to a “Field of Dreams” type of trip.
Robert talked about scheduling such a huge project, his challenges promoting the film organically, some of his favorite ballparks during the trip, and the work he does with the Michael J. Fox foundation. All proceeds from the sale of the DVD go towards fighting Parkinson’s disease.
