Wrap up your weekend and stay warm with us as I have my final 2009 show on 1240 AM WGBB.
Jim Baumbach of Newsday will join me to lead it off. This week he had a chance to tour the “old” Yankee Stadium and will give us a recap of what is now a demolition site. We will also chat about the Yankees recent acquisition of Nick Johnson, the departure of Johnny Damon, and the latest news regarding the Mets pursuit of Jason Bay.
I will also have an interesting segment as we discuss the independent film “Boys of Summer”. Robert Cochrane and his dad traveled 20,000 miles during the summer of 2004 and visited all 30 MLB ballparks. I will talk with Robert about the experience.
