Baseball Musings posts a video of a reenactment of scenes from the book Moneyball.
They do the part of the book which outlines the 2002 trade deadline. Get to hear Billy Beane peddle Mike Venafro, acquire Ricardo Rincon, and tell Omar Minaya how to trade Cliff Floyd to the Red Sox for a “fat 3B” named Kevin Youkilis. Even our old friend Steve Phillips is portrayed.

Omar is not Omar in that scene. He should’ve said that the Red Sox lobby for Youkilis not to be in deal, you know what I mean?
