NYBD Radio Update: Bleacher Creatures, Cyclones, and Yankee Stadium

We had so much to talk about on Sunday’s shows that I never teased the week ahead. I Decided to do that now.
We will be back on the air during our normal time slot Thursday at 6pm. I will be revisiting the topic of the Bleacher Creatures. Back in December of 2007 I had Daily News columnist Flip Bondy on the show. He talked about his book “Bleeding Pinstripes: A Season With the Bleacher Creatures of Yankee Stadium”. During the show you will hear a replay of that Bondy interview and also from one current, and one former, Bleacher Creature. Bald Vinny will call in live from Yankee Stadium to talk about the new bleachers and Tone 516, a loyal contributor to the show, will talk about his thoughts on the new Stadium.
I will then have a special edition of the show on Friday at 6pm. Patrick Hickey Jr. of Dem Brooklyn Bums will join me live from Keyspan Park right before the Brooklyn Cyclones/Staten Island Yankees NY -Penn League Opener. We will take a look at the upcoming Cyclones season and give Patrick an opportunity to discuss a project he has been working on about the Cyclones.
