Ian Kennedy Diagnosed With Aneurysm

The headline speaks for itself. We talked about this last week when we first learned that Ian Kennedy was feeling numbness in his fingers. I think I speak for everyone here in saying that we wish Ian the best of luck and speedy recovery. Kennedy is slated to have surgery on Tuesday.
Anyone who read Joel Sherman’s book “Birth of a Dynasty” knows about David Cone battling the same injury. Cone was quoted in the book as saying the doctors caught the situation just in time. Of course, Coney had a quick recovery and pitched seven no hit innings his first game back.
Hopefully Ian Kennedy has the same success with his recovery that Cone did.
