Vote: Trading the Killer B’s

By Frank Russo ~ March 1st, 2011. Filed under: New York Yankees, Polls.

Earlier today I reported about how the Yankees are trying to acquire Francisco Liriano without sacrificing Dellin Betances, Manuel Banuelos, or Andrew Brackman.

If it came down to acquiring Francisco Liriano, would you be willing to include any of the B’s?Apparently, Brian Cashman would prefer not to.

I wanted to take a tempeture of the fans so vote below.

    Frank,

Andrew Marchand of 1050 ESPN said he could see something getting done before the end of Spring Training. He also gave his reasons why the Twins like both Nova and Pena but thinks the package would have to be those two plus Joba Chamberlain to get a deal done. He said there is no way Cashman includes either Banuelos or Betances. Is this what you are hearing as well?

    Michael,

Rigft now, the Killer B’s are off-limits. Everyone throughout baseball think very highly of them. Cashman knows that they are all hlghly prized prospects. I just don’t see them trading any of them for a Liriano, a pitcher with a history of arm problems.
