Joba Chamberlain and Bubble Boy?
By Mike Silva ~ October 2nd, 2008. Filed under: Mike Silva.
On Sunday’s Yankees Season Recap Show, I discussed the state of the team with Joe DelGrippo of NY Baseball Digest, Phil Allard of WCBS Newsradio 880, and Sensei John Kreese of Nomaas.org
Each had their opinions on the team but, when I spoke to Sensei, we both agreed that the Yankees are babying Joba Chamberlain and he should be in the starting rotation come 2009. Brian Cashman indicated, in his interview with Mike Francesa, that he anticipates Joba to start in 09′. What he did not discuss is if the Yankees will employ a similar approach that that did this season.
That approach led Sensei and I to compare Joba to the “Bubble Boy”. One of Nomaas staff writers, Dr. Dale Beaverman, has also weighed in on the debate. In case your interested in how I inspired the Nomaas staff, go to the website and check out the Joba “Bubble Boy” Chamberlain graphic.
Thank you Sensei, you stood by your word by giving me an assist in the creative idea.
