Introducing the Audio of the Day
By Mike Silva ~ December 17th, 2009. Filed under: Audio of the Day.
This March will be three years since I launched my idea of a New York Baseball radio show. With the explosion of blogs, message boards, and independent media I thought it was time for fans to hear a radio show that focuses on good baseball content. Instead of endless calls beating the same points to death I wanted to create a show that had a combination of opinion and historical perspective. Over the course of time I am proud of some of the interviews that we have conducted.
It started as New York Baseball Talk and now has morphed into Mike Silva’s New York Baseball Digest. I never thought what I believed was a “one month trial” could have turned into what it is today.
Knowing it’s difficult to stay on top of all the audio content I will start the “Audio of Day” which will allow fans to download one of the “Best of NYBD Radio” archives. These interviews are from my both my radio show on 1240 AM WGBB and podcast on Blog Talk Radio.
Of course if you want to get the latest shows in its entirety you can go to my radio page at Blog Talk Radio or subscribe for free on iTunes.
Each year the show continues to grow and I appreciate the loyal audience. The radio is the heart of what we do, and the only reason I was inspired to create this site- my personal digest of New York baseball information.
I hope you enjoy my personal digest of interviews with athletes, journalist, authors, and independent bloggers. More to come as we head into 2010.

Do you make available downloadable mp3 versions? That’s more convenient for me.
Thanks.

Nice work Mike. Cool to hear you still going strong after 3 years running your own ship.

RZG
If you go to the radio archive you can download any file in MP3 format. Just have to scroll by month since latest episodes are front and center.
Each Audio of the day will be available in mp3 download as well in the post
Thanks for listening
