Yanks/Arizona, Arroyo, Washburn

Frank is hearing that Arizona and the Yankees are talking about pitching. A starter/reliever package from what he was told. Nothing as come to fruition and he is working on more details.
Wouldn’t Chad Qualls look good in the eighth inning? Especially if Hughes, as Peter Abraham mentioned today, is being worked back into the rotation. Also Doug Davis would make sense for the Yankees.
Frank also said nothing on Bronson Arroyo. Cincinnati wants top prospects.
Remember, Arroyo also has a decent amount of money coming to him which goes back to Joel Sherman’s reporting.
MLB Network just reported Jarrod Washburn was just traded to Detroit for two pitchers.
One less pitcher for the Yanks. Sounds like Seattle got the pitching they wanted and the Yankees wouldn’t give any up.
