Listen: “Soul of a Yankee” Tonight at 8pm

Hear another edition of NYBD Radio as tonight we have two interesting guests.

Billy and Joe Pepitone will talk about their new book “Soul of a Yankee: The Iron Horse, the Babe, and the Battle for Joe Pepitone.” This book is a fictional novel based on the life of former Yankees first basemen Joe Pepitone. A must read for any Yankees fan.

Filmmaker Tony Okun will discuss his independent film “Time in the Minors.”

This project follows two minor league players from pre-season and beyond through the ups and downs of a life in professional baseball, and the dream that keeps their hopes alive. Tony Schrager and John Drennen are on opposite spectrums of their careers, but each holds an interesting story about the game.

To wrap up I will discuss my thoughts on some of the news of the week. Hear me announce the NYBD “Man of the Year” vote, if the Yankees should sign Manny Ramirez, the lefty reliever market for the Mets, and wonder if Mets fans are in love with Jose Canseco?
