Jerky Kid That Interfered With Nelson Cruz

By Mike Silva ~ October 19th, 2010. Filed under: 2010 Playoffs.

I have to admit the kid that interfered with Nelson Cruz chasing down Robinson Cano‘s second inning homer made me laugh.

I have to admit its guys like this that give Yankees fans a bad name! Nice hat kid, did your parents dress you before you went out tonight?

I don’t think this guy will be getting a date anytime soon.

For what it’s worth, I believe the call was correct, but the umpiring crew should have reviewed it.

Not to argue the call…but doesn’t the actions of this kid, really just echo Jeter’s acting job in Tampa? Whether it’s Jeter or Fans, it seems that if it comes down to straight up baseball the Yankees aren’t good enough right now.

I love the interviews where this goof commented that they didn’t interfere with Cruz (Who I beleive would’ve come up short of catching this ball anyways…but who knows)
