Who Snuck Newspapers In the Mets Clubhouse?

By Mike Silva ~ May 23rd, 2009. Filed under: Mike Silva.

Last month Kevin Kernan of the NY Post reported on my show the Mets decision to ban newspapers from the clubhouse. It appears that someone got a NY Post past Jay Horwitz in Boston. I wouldn’t have believed it if not for this photo. Obviously the Mets overcame the bad vibes that comes with such a heinous act.

Who do you think snuck in the newspaper? Mr. Met? Gary, Keith, and Ron? Burkhardt? Ray Ramirez? Jose Reyes? Or could we have a mole implanted in the team that we don’t know about?

I better question is why anyone reads that filth, nevermind Mets players.

I blame Reyes. He was in NY to see the doc before going up to Boston right? maybe he stopped at the corner deli, got the paper, a can of pepsi throwback and some icy-hot.
